Run the time or payroll report that lists hours by employee, date and job title, and save it as a CSV or Excel file. Agency hours can come from a CSV or be entered by hand.
- 02Map it once
AI suggests the CMS labor code for every job title and pay type, with a confidence score. Approve the mapping once and it's saved for that facility.
- 03Reuse every quarter
Next quarter, upload the same report. PBJ Ready applies the saved mapping, checks every hour against CMS rules and builds the file.
Questions about your system
Is this a direct integration?
No. PBJ Ready works from a report your system can already export, so there's nothing to install and no IT project. You upload the file, approve the mapping once, and every later quarter reuses it.
Can we upload our payroll register?
Not on its own. A payroll register totals hours for each pay period, and PBJ needs each employee's hours on each calendar day. A timecard or daily hours report from the same system usually has that detail. Bring a sample to the demo and we'll check it with you.
What if our facilities use different systems?
Each facility can use its own export. PBJ Ready saves a mapping for each system and brings every facility into one view.
What about agency and contract staff?
Add agency hours from a CSV or enter them by hand. They're checked and included in the same PBJ file as your employees' hours.
